„Jetzt ist ein guter Zeitpunkt, um sicherzustellen, dass wir in Zukunft die Fehler der Vergangenheit vermeiden können. Deshalb müssen wir endlich darüber reden, warum wir oft so schlecht miteinander geredet haben.“ So schreibt es Christian Wirrwitz dieses Jahr in seinem Artikel der Luxemburg Zeitschrift. Die Linke ist im Aufwind und im Wahlkampf haben wir es geschafft eine gemeinsame Stimme zu sein. In der Vergangenheit aber ging solch ein Momentum nicht selten durch innerlinke Debatten und Streitereien verloren. Wie können wir diese Wiederholung vermeiden?
In einem interaktiven Vortrag wird Christian Wirrwitz, gemeinsam mit dem Publikum, 10 hypothetische Gründe besprechen, warum es immer wieder zu einer bestimmten Art von Streit innerhalb der Linken kommt. Denn Verstehen kommt vor Veränderung. Danach stellt er einige Möglichkeiten vor, wie jede*r selbst und Menschen in Verantwortungs- und Moderationsrollen diese Debattenkultur verändern können. Das Publikum kann sich mit eigenen Erfahrungen während des Vortrags und Fragen am Ende einbringen. Natürlich freiwillig. Ob also Parteimitglied, Bewegungslinke oder interessierte Person, ob seit Jahren dabei oder frisch im Engagement, es zählt der Austausch und das gemeinsame Interesse an einer zukunftsgewandten Linken.

"Now is a good time to ensure that we can avoid the mistakes of the past in the future. That's why we finally need to talk about why we’ve often communicated so poorly with one another." This is how Christian Wirrwitz puts it recently in his article in an edition of Luxemburg magazine. The Left is on the rise, and during the election campaign, we managed to speak with a unified voice. In the past, however, such momentum has often been lost due to internal leftist debates and conflicts. So how can we avoid repeating this pattern?
In this interactive lecture, Christian Wirrwitz will explore – together with the audience – ten hypothetical reasons why a certain kind of conflict keeps recurring within the Left. Because understanding must come before change. He will then present a range of approaches that individuals, as well as those in positions of responsibility or moderation, can use to help reshape the culture of debate. The audience is welcome to share their own experiences during the talk and ask questions at the end — participation is, of course, voluntary. So whether you're a party member, part of the broader leftist movement, or simply an interested person — whether you’ve been involved for years or have just recently become active — what matters is the exchange and our shared interest in a forward-looking Left.
